Camron "Big Comfy" Couch
At an early age Camron Couch took a liking for physical competition. From the age of 10, Camron excelled in the sport of Wrestling and eventually would complete on the collegiate level at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga.
After college Camron returned to Texas to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under 6th Degree Black Belt Allen Mohler. With a strong foundation in Wrestling, Couch excelled in BJJ achieving a NoGi record of 54-0. This stellar record culminated in a 2010 Pan’s NoGi Championship Title.
In 2011, Camron’s hard work was rewarded with his purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In order to continue his progression Camron decided to take a trip of a lifetime and train in Brazil. Camron lived in Brazil and trained at Connection Rio under Dennis Asche. His experience in Brazil was invaluable; he was able to polish his craft and has since, competed all over the United States.
In 2012, Camron had the privilege of preparing for the World Championships in San Diego with Andre Galvao and the Mendez Brothers at Team Atos. Training with the best, make you the best. This sentiment has always resonated with Camron and has served as a guiding principle by which he trains. Late in 2012 Camron was honored with his Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Allen Moher. This accomplishment has served as a catalyst for continuous growth in the Sport.
With Camron’s foundation in Wrestling and achievements in BJJ, he soon became a prime candidate to prepare to enter the MMA cage. Being around the sport triggered something in Camron. He immediately was drawn to it, and felt MMA fighting should be his next test.
Camron started Fighting in early 2013 for Ascend Combat in Shrevport, Louisiana. Couch won his first 2 fights by TKO in the 2nd round. His impressive display in his first two bouts earned him a Title fight which he won by unanimous decision. The ability to defend a Title is the sign of a true Champion. Since winning the Title, Camron has successfully defended it, and looks to continuously get better every single say.

Allen Mohler is like family to me. He has taken me under his wing and taught me many things about BJJ and life. He has traveled with me to many BJJ competitions and all 4 of my MMA fights. I think he is the best corner coach in the business.
My first MMA match in March of 2013. It's a great feeling when two competitors are in the cage and the door shuts.
My 3rd fight for Ascend Combat and a Title Shot against a tough fighter from Texas.
4th fight against undefeated Dan Street. This was my first Title Defense.
